  4. •Sunday, August 15 - Vogel der Nacht Festival, Bensheim - Bensheim’s premier music festival!  Amazing music in all genres, over 6 beautiful days.  Fun for the whole family, and absolutely free!  We’ll be playing right at the end this year (we may be the last band!)  See you there...

  11. •Saturday, May 1, 2010 - Waldkindergarten, Bensheim-Schönberg - Our nice, mellow annual outing with the great people at the Waldkindergarten takes place during the Weinlagenwanderung, when you can walk through the vinyards from Zwingenberg to Heppenheim, never more than 100 paces from your next bottle of wine.  Stop by and have fun with the kids...

  15. •Sunday, December 6, 2009 - El Corazon, Bensheim.  What better way to celebrate Christmas (a little early) than with some tapas, spanish wine, and reggae music?  Need I say more?

  16. •Thursday, November 26, 2009 - Stadtmühle, Bensheim.  This is actually the first “open-stage” night at the Stadtmühle - musicians from all over are invited and welcome to participate.  We may play a few tunes as Stir it Up, and a couple of other bands will also play a few tunes, but then it’s going to devolve into a big jam session, so come on out and shake it up with us!

  17. •Tuesday, November 3, 2009 - Zorbas, Groß-Rohrheim, (sometime after 20:00).  Little Groß-Rohrheim somehow has this amazing music scene, and a big part of it is the monthly shows at Zorbas.  We’re glad to be back - playing (mostly) “unplugged style this time, and we’ll be trying out a couple of new tunes!

  18. •Tuesday, September 8, 2009 - Bensheim Winzerfest, MABs, Bensheim.  (About 20:00) Always cool to play in MABs, the center of the Bensheim music scene.  It’s an honor to play during the Winzerfest, too!

  19. •Friday, August 21, 2009 - Vogel der Nacht Festival, Bensheim.  Our favorite festival - a fantastic event for all ages.  We’re totally jazzed for this one!  Music, magic, comedy, food, and fun are guaranteed for all!  We start at 20:45, but there are great bands all evening, so come early!

  20. •Saturday, August 15, 2009 - Reggae im Stadtpark, Bensheim.  A reggae festival right in our hometown!  Bensheim is now officially on the map! Sorry!  This one is cancelled!

  21. •Saturday, July 18, 2009 - Prosecco-Fest, Stadtgarten, Bensheim.  We’re playing from 5 to 8 in the evening in front of the Il Prosecco restaurant, and we’re PSYCHED!  It’s an honor to open up for AmoKomA, one of the best funk bands in the business!

  22. •Sunday, June 21, 2009 - Fete de la Musique, Hanau. We get to open up an all-day festival of music - we’ll be starting at 14:00, but you should be ready to stay all afternoon to see some great bands...

  23. •Sunday, June 7, 2009 - Bensheim Bürgerfest, MABs, Bensheim.  It’s always great to play at MABs, right in the heart of Bensheim, especially with the Bürgerfest all wrapped around us!

  25. •Wednesday, May 20, 2009 - MaiWay Festival, Bensheim.  Bummer!  ‘Bei Eda’ went out of business, and we’re left without a place to play.  :-(  I guess there was too much Wodka-trinking and not enough Geld-making going on in there...  The good news is that now we’re free to party and enjoy all the other great music.  We’ll see you wandering around town that night - it’s a GREAT party in Bensheim!

  26. •Sunday, May 17, 2009 - Autofreie Bergstraße.  We have the good fortune to be partying with the TSV Auerbach, at the Sparkasse Auerbach.  Come out and get your groove on in the warm, spring sunshine with us!  We’ll be joined by some musical friends throughout the day, so you never know what & who you might hear.  This will definitely be the party spot to be in - and of course there will be plenty of food, wine and beer (my personal favorite).

  27. •Saturday, May 16, 2009 - Zwingenberg Stadtpark, Zwingenberg.  There’s a big old stage set up for the Autofreie Bergstraße the next day, so why not use it?  We’ll be playing an acoustic set for an hour or so, and there are at least two other bands (I think DNS?)  Anyway, you can be sure it will be a great night of music in a beautiful location.

  28. •May 9, 2009.  Hauptbahnof, Düsseldorf.  Yes, Düsseldorf!  This is an awareness event for accident victims, being sponsored by Subvenio-ev, and we’re playing all afternoon to help out.  If you have a bahncard, come on up and lend some support!

  31. •It’s COLD!  After a great, warm, reggae-filled summer, with outdoor shows and open doors, we’re back indoors again.  It’s not all bad, though - we can all gather around the old tube amps and keep our hands warm together.  We had a great time at our first anniversary party, at MABs in Bensheim (site of our first gig together) on December 6th (Saturday evening).  We had a great, fun crowd and I think everyone had a good time...

  33. •On September 12, Miles and Tommy played with the Bensheim ‘All Star Band’ at MABs in Bensheim. (what is it with that place?)  There were a host of great musicians on the stage for a once-a-year session, organized by Asti Ickler (otherwise known as Mr. Lister).   Asti, Miles, Tommy, Fritz Strößinger, Olaf Dietz, Manu Mandrysch, Oliver Christ, and special guest Kiki were jamming some great party tunes.  (and our own Günni was mixing the sound that night).  I know everyone there had a great time!

  35. •Two nights later (Sunday, September 14th) Stir it Up played on the same stage.  We broke out some cool new material from Jack Johnson, Led Zeppelin, David Lindley, and Ben Harper, including a few tunes featuring the Weissenborn (Hawaiian) slide guitar.  Lest you think “Hawaiian - that must be mellow...”  THINK AGAIN - the sounds that come out of the mahogany and the steel strings, through the fishman humbucking pickup, and AMPED through the magic high gain tubes is pure drippy warm distortion joy!  Well, at least I think so...

  37. •We had a BLAST playing at the Vogel der Nacht Festival in Bensheim in August!  There was so much great music, food (those Quiches and Pfannkuchen from CaterKati were FANTASTIC!), not to mention the great chill vibe.  Harry and the team did a great job organizing, and Matthias Braun was simply magic running the sound!  A few of the photos on our website were taken by Thomas Kuhn, and he tells us they are copyrighted 2008.  If you missed it this year, don’t make the same mistake next year!
